While a variety of applications are available for providing educational resources for CPR training and assistance tools for those already trained, this application serves as a valuable guide for untrained individuals on performing CPR effectively during an emergency. Developed and currently under assessment at the UCSD School of Medicine, the application is part of an IRB approved study focused on evaluating its ability to coach untrained individuals in conducting life-saving CPR.

It is important to note that the study is ongoing, and the application is intended solely for educational and demonstrational purposes at this stage, not to be utilized in an emergency.

In addition to CPR guidance, the application includes instructions on administering the Heimlich maneuver and Narcan to reverse opioid overdoses.

Disclaimer: This app should not be viewed as a substitute for formal CPR training sanctioned by the AHA, nor does it offer any certification. For formal CPR certification and comprehensive training, it is recommended to enrol in an AHA course near you.
